About Younique

Bátor Tábor Foundation, proud member of the Serious Fun Children’s Network founded by Academy Award-winning actor Paul Newman, has been providing life-changing experiences to seriously and chronically ill children and their families, and also to those families who have suffered the loss of a child for 25 years. Since 2001, as a regional center we have changed the lives of more than 25,000 participants. In addition to camps, our volunteers bring laughter to hospital bedsides, classrooms and the walls of the home through our online programs.

A significant part of the foundation’s revenue is generated through exclusive charity events. Since 2005, Bátor Tábor has hosted an annual Contemporary Art Auction, which has grown into one of the most prestigious gatherings for art professionals, gallerists, and collectors alike.

Building on two decades of experience with our Contemporary Art Auction, we aim to provide now a platform for young artists under the age of 35 to showcase their work. To this end, we are launching a new, 21st-century, stylish and distinctive auction dedicated to emerging — but not yet established — artists from Hungary and the broader Central and Eastern European region. Following the successful debut of YOUNIQUE last year, we are convinced that this concept has a real place and purpose. Encouraged by its positive reception, we are now delighted to be organizing the second edition, YOUNIQUE² this year.

A 4-member international jury of acknowledged experts selects the auction material. All jury members are art historians and curators with excellent knowledge of the Central and Eastern European region, who actively follow the work of emerging artists:
